  • Air filter - clean & oiled
  • Chain tension (3-finger slack)
  • Tire pressure set
  • Brake lever feel
  • Coolant level visible
  • Controls free movement
  • Fuel - fresh mix
  • Bolts - visual check

Post-Ride Maintenance

Warm engine. Better drainage.

  • Wash bike (low pressure)
  • Clean air filter
  • Lube chain
  • Check for leaks
  • Note any issues
  • Log hours
  • Top off fuel
  • Cover exhaust

Critical Service Details

Transmission Oil - Every 10 Hours

Spec:

  • Motorex 10W-50 (OEM)
  • 900ml capacity
  • Change hot for best drainage

Hard enduro factors:

  • Clutch work = 8-hour intervals
  • Magnet tells story
  • Dark = clutch plates

Power Valve Cleaning - Every 20 Hours

Process:

  • Remove right side cover
  • Pull valve assembly
  • Clean with contact cleaner
  • Light oil on bearings

Signs It’s Due:

  • Flat power delivery
  • Hard starting
  • Spooge increase
  • Loss of snap

Suspension Service - 30-40 Hours

Service Includes:

  • Complete oil change
  • Seal inspection/replacement
  • Bushing check
  • Nitrogen recharge (shock)

Environment impact:

  • Dust accelerates wear
  • Rocks = 30-hour service
  • Fork guards required
  • Seal savers extend life

Top End Rebuild - 80-100 Hours

Parts Needed:

  • Vertex piston kit
  • OEM gaskets
  • Fresh spark plug
  • Power valve springs

  • Hard starting

Dust Management

  • Twin Air or No Toil filters only
